Shark Futures enforces defined trading sessions to promote consistent risk management and accurate performance evaluation. Please review the guidelines below carefully.

Daily Trading Sessions
Weekday Trading
Trading is allowed Monday through Friday during regular market hours
All positions must be closed by 4:15 PM EST each trading day
Evening / Overnight Sessions
New positions may be opened starting at 6:00 PM EST, which marks the beginning of the next trading session
Positions opened during the evening session must still be closed by 4:15 PM EST the following day
No Holding Past 4:15 PM EST
Positions may not be held beyond 4:15 PM EST under any circumstance
Weekend Restrictions
No Weekend Holds
All positions must be closed before market close on Friday
Positions may not be held over the weekend
Sunday Reopen
Trading resumes when markets reopen on Sunday at 6:00 PM EST
News Trading
News trading is allowed
Shark Futures does not restrict trading during economic news events. Traders are permitted to open, close, and hold positions during news releases.
Important Risk Note
Trading during high-impact news events can result in increased volatility, rapid price movement, and slippage. Slippage during news is a market condition and is not controlled by Shark Futures.
Traders are expected to manage position size and risk appropriately when trading during news.
Trading Day Definition
A trading day is defined as placing at least one trade between 6:00 PM EST and 4:15 PM EST the following day.
