Basic Challenge Accounts vs. PRO Accounts

At Shark Futures, traders begin with a Basic Challenge Account. After meeting all evaluation requirements, successful traders are upgraded to a PRO Account. Below is a comparison of the two stages.

Basic Challenge Account

The Basic Challenge is the evaluation phase used to qualify traders for a PRO Account.

To pass a Challenge, traders must:

  • Reach the required profit target

  • Follow all risk and drawdown rules

  • Maintain a 50% consistency rule

  • Trade on at least 2 separate trading days

Once all requirements are met, the trader is upgraded to a PRO Account.

Basic Challenge accounts do not allow payouts.


PRO Account

PRO Accounts are issued after passing a Basic Challenge. They represent the funded simulation phase where consistency and risk management are evaluated.

PRO Accounts include:

  • 90/10 profit split in your favor

  • No profit target required

  • 40% consistency rule

  • Trailing Max Drawdown with a soft daily loss limit

  • Eligibility to manage up to 5 PRO accounts simultaneously

Payout Eligibility for PRO Accounts

  • 6 qualifying trading days are required before requesting a payout

  • Payouts are subject to the PRO payout cap table

  • For accounts issued on or after February 1st, payouts are limited to 50% of eligible profits per payout request, up to the applicable cap


Account Management Notes

  • Unlimited Basic Challenge accounts may be held

  • Up to 5 PRO accounts may be active at one time

  • Upon qualifying for Live Trading, traders are limited to 1 Live Account
